We think that the best way of drying firewood is to kiln-dry it. If it’s been correctly kiln-dried, it becomes perfect for burning.
It can then be burnt in open fires or wood-burning stoves. Kiln-dried firewood is perfect for burning because it catches light quickly.

Using quality firelighters, you can easily ignite our logs. Because they have been kiln-dried for such a long period, there is less smoke and soot generated, which certain other types of wet wood would most otherwise certainly have generated.

Industrial kilns

We use our own custom-made, industrial kiln, which is top-quality and bakes the wood. There are also fans which circulate the air within the kiln.

We also use a biomass heater to heat the logs up to a specific temperature for a very prolonged period, significantly reducing the moisture within the wood.

This produces kiln-dried firewood, which is excellent quality, and this is why our customers return month after month to purchase their firewood directly from us.

Stored in a warehouse

Even though the timber has been dried in a kiln, if its put-out size is exposed to rain, sleet, and hail, it will reabsorb the moisture.
So after it’s been kiln-dried, you should store it in a nice dry place. This is why we have a warehouse where we store our kiln-dried timber.

Why not purchase your firewood directly from us?

We will deliver the logs to you as soon as we can. We always kiln dry our firewood and use moisture meters to check the moisture within each batch of firewood. If the firewood is not dried enough, that’s to say the moisture content is not reduced enough in each batch of firewood, then the forklift truck puts some back in the kiln for baking even longer.
Our customers know when they buy from us, they are getting top-quality firewood.
